Personal Statement
My name is Harry Tye and I'm a 17 year old junior in high school. As of right now I am looking for a division three college where I can swim competitively while also being able to focus on school. I am committed to making myself and my peers work hard so that our team can win and given the opportunity to swim in college I would do the same. I currently attend swim practice seven times a week and go to the gym two to three times a week to improve strength and conditioning. Being captain of both my high school and club teams makes me a better leader and I hope to push my teammates to work harder and improve. Although swimming is extremely important to me, I am still committed to succeed academically. Last year I took two AP classes and scored fives on both the exams and I am taking four AP classes and one honors class this year.
