Jacob Durmis '19 Recruiting Profile

I started swimming as a freshman for the 2015-2016 season. My freshman season was unfortunately cut in half because I fell ill with a case of appendicitis. I came back to the 2016-2017 season willing to do anything to succeed. I swam on my high school team and on my local YMCA team for the first time. I qualified for districts in the 100 fly and back for high school and the 100 back for YMCA. The 2017-2018 season was a highlight season. I qualified for districts in 5 individual events for high school and two individual events for YMCA. I swam the 100 fly and back at high school and YMCA districts. I am looking forward to the 2018-2019 season and making it the best season yet. If I am given the opportunity to succeed, I will give 100% effort, 100% of the time.
