Nicholas Angeny '12 Recruiting Profile

Swimming has been an important part of my life and my family's since I was 5 years old. I have competed on many school and club teams over the years and have received a lot of recognition for my involvement. My most notable accomplishments were probably; 1. USA Swimming top 16 ten year old - 50 FR and 50 BK, twelve year old 50 BR. 2. Made Mid-Atlantic Zone teams as a 10, 12 and 14 year old. 3. All Catholic swimmer Archbishop Ryan H.S. 4. Made States in 100 BR as a Sophomore and a Junior. 5. Sectional cuts in 50 FR & 100 BR as Sophomore,50 FR,100 BR and 200 IM as Junior. I believe that my diligence, perseverance and competitive nature were formed and developed through swimming. I like the way swimming has made my body strong and healthy, my times continue to drop, and my technique improves. I don't know any particulars yet about what college I will attend, my major or the location. I do know that education and swimming are important to me and I will pursue them vigorously.
