My name is Mike Hernandez, I am currently enrolled at Bryan Adams HS. My goal for school is to work towards getting a career in medicine and go to a college that will not only help me to pursue a career in that field but to also have the opportunity to swim. I first began swimming when I was about 6 years old for a summer team at the pool by my house and from there I then joined the Dallas Mustangs. I'm also swimming for my high school team where I have become team captain and I am also playing water polo for my high school. This last year I made state in the 100 Fly and in the 200 medaly relay. I have also participated in a cancer research fundraiser called Swim Across America where I have raised around $8,000. My goal for swimming is to make state for my last 2 years and to help my team mates improve and be there for them.
