Braxton Armstrong '20 Recruiting Profile

My commitment and ability in the water is defined by my attitude and effort in my daily life.  I am a member of the Springville City Youth Court, working with local first time offenders my age,  as a representative and judge.  I am a member of the National Honor Society and earned my Eagle Scout at the age of fourteen.  I am committed to the team ideology rather than the hero mentality and apply this effort on my local club waterpolo team, Mountain Zone Olympic Development Team, and on Utah Premier,  my Junior Olympic waterpolo team.

My drive for achievement as a player has a solid foundation strengthened by the knowledge of two coaches and a local waterpolo mentor.  Genai Kerr is a motivational trainer with a contagious attitude for success.  My Utah Premier coach, Jeff Whipple, was a high level competitor who has a realistic eye and pushes me to succeed based on personal effort and absolute commitment.  Tumua Tavana has a family centered lifestyle that helped me recognize the support needed as a student athlete.
