Hello, I'm Marin Banuelos. I do feel that I would like to pursue some aspect of “international business” with a minor in “speech and communication.” I could seriously consider pursuing my MBA at UC Berkeley. I do have a strong interest in world business since I have travelled extensively with my father’s profession as an International Research Scientist/Professor. I have lived with my family in Switzerland for 3 summers, where I played on clay courts; this was new and fun for me. Because of my international exposure to many cultures and different languages, I get along with people of all diversity. Although tennis is my best sport, I also love team sports (baseball, soccer, basketball) and enjoy golf and table tennis. All my friends play sports. Playing other sports, in addition to tennis, has contributed to a more balanced body and has increased my ability to watch the ball in tennis. Moreover, belonging to a team has more value to me as being an only child. Since both of my parents teach, I have grown up with the understanding that both sports and education walk hand in hand.
