I am a 5'8" tennis player from Cupertino, California graduating in the class of 2018. I have been playing tennis and competing in USTA junior tournaments since I was 8 years old. I was ranked in the top 25 in Northern California section for both boys 12’s and 14’s. I was also chosen to play in the Norcal Zonals team during the summer of 2014. I played on the Varsity Tennis Team at Saint Francis High School both my freshman and sophomore years as #2 or #3 singles. I earned a First team all league award and an honorable mention in my high school tennis league, WCAL (Western Catholic Athletic League.) I am currently ranked #31 in Norcal Boys16’s division. I have played and will continue to play in several USTA tennis tournaments including excellence, super series, championships, and sectionals for both singles and doubles.
Playing tennis in college has always been a dream of mine and I hope to make an immediate impact to my team. I want to attend a school that has a good balance between academics and athletics. I plan to major in Health Sciences with a minor in Business. Ideally I would like attend a school with a great “college town” atmosphere. I am also interested in schools that have students from diverse backgrounds. I don’t have a preference on the geographic location of the school.
