My famiy moved to Florida from Europe a year and a half ago where I had lived my whole life. I was born in Atlanta but we moved when I was a baby. I grew up playing european football for FC Barcelona youth squad playing international tournaments in big noisy stadiums. A couple of nice memories are when I was voted MVP by other footballers at an international tournament in Hungary. Another nice moment was when I was chosen as Captain of our team for the 'Munialito' world championships in Portugal.
I started playing tennis with my older brother around age 9 at Sanchez Casals in Barcelona. Because of the rigid structure at Barca everyone said right away my movement, speed, fitness and will weremy strengths. Around age 11 we moved to Germany where I was sponsored by the German Tennis Federation (my mother is German) in Koblenz and then the bigger Frankfurt center. I reached a German ranking of 14 in the B12 and top twenty in the B14. I mostly played on the Juniot Tennis Europe tour achieving a top 200 before we moved to Florida.
I speak fluently English, Spanish and German and am conversational in Catalan.
Each country we have moved to I have started my ranking from the beginning, adapted to the different conditions and improved different aspects of my game. I am currently focusing on my UTR and playing ITF's and Mens Tournaments as well as USTA National Level events.
