Daniel Gianopulos '12 Recruiting Profile

For as long as I can remember growing up in California, it has been my dream to become a top collegiate tennis player, get a great education, and compete on the Pro Tour.  With the support of my parent's and sister,  I left my family and the comforts of home, when I was 13 years old, and moved to Bradenton, Florida to train and pursue my dream.  For the last four years, I trained at the IMG Tennis Academy, United Tennis Academy, and am now training at the Eagleton Ferreira Tennis Academy, which specializes in teaching Modern 21st Century Tennis.  I am a punctual, early-rising, hard-working, and very dedicated tennis player.  Living alone for these last four years, I have become accustomed to managing my school work and household responsibilities, on top of my training 5 - 6 days a week.  I am a fast learner and my strengths include my heavy forehand, effective kick-serve, speed and agility, and my excellent physical fitness.
