I'm a team player and an exceptional clutch player, know how to play under pressure and compete the best way possible, my hunger for competing is beyond imaginable, and I'm gonna try my best to get the win. Try to make myself a leader in everything I do, and good with social relationships, but to get to know me better my background is important. My tennis started when I was only 4 years old, I’m originally from Venezuela but after 11 years my parents decided to immigrate to Costa Rica since the crisis was unsustainable to live, practice, and all living in general. In Costa Rica, I continue playing tennis and manage to be the number of 1 of the nation two consecutive years U16, and U18, and some ITFs, in which one of them I managed to hit finals in doubles. After that, there wasn’t any level to compete and it was really hard for my parents to just make me travel and compete. They didn’t want my studies to go to waste, my coaches, family, and I was unsatisfied because I was stuck and my level wasn’t going anywhere in a country where the competition was lacking. So my parents decided to make a final major decision in January of 2020 that was to move here to Orlando, Florida. Once I got here and thought that I was gonna have more competition, managed to play only 1 month before covid started. Once Covid happened my UTR and everything dropped, so I didn’t have any chance to put the UTR up, even though I have the level to compete on a Division 1 school, coaches are just believing in the UTR. All these challenges I have overcome over life haven't been easy but somehow manage to overcome them and become a better person, I believe that life is a challenge and it's up to you how you deal with these challenges. All this experience has create a Luis that's able to overcome and fight all problems no matter the situation or scenario.
