Personal Statement
Hello, my name is Jakeb Watts. I attend Austin High School in Indiana where I start Varsity for the tennis team. I mainly play doubles, but I have been working on my quickness and agility to improve my mobility in my doubles game and allow me to compete in singles. My self-motivation and my desire to work hard is what sets me apart from other recruits, but what also helps with that is my grades. I hold a 4.0 GPA and have maintained that through my whole high school career, despite having played in four Varsity sports throughout my high school career. If I had to describe myself in one word it would be "willing" because I'm willing to stay late and work, I'm willing to get up early for a swing, and I am willing to do whatever a coach needs me to do in order to help the program succeed.
