Personal Statement
I started playing tennis competitively starting my freshmen year in high school but I really fell in love with the sport my sophomore year. Playing #1 doubles during my sophomore year, I was up against many guys who were older and bigger than me. The experience of playing with and against these guys really motivated me to take my game to that level. I'm that person who works hard on and off the tennis court. I play tennis year round and travel all around the state competing in tournaments and going to tennis camps. I put in all these hours because I am dedicated to getting better and helping my teammates perform to the best of their ability.
My attitude is the same for academics. I always do my very best to get ahead of the game for big projects and I work well with my classmates during those projects. I also am on my school's Ecology Club. I am very proud of what I have achieved athletically and academically. I firmly believe that there is always something to improve on and learn, whether it be a player on the tennis courts or a student in the classroom.
