Austin Lamm '20 Recruiting Profile

    Like many young athletes, I have always dreamed of playing at the collegiate level. Whether it would be on the courts or in the classroom, you can always find me striving for excellence. From a young age, I was taught that academics always comes before athletics. This is why I strive to maintain my 3.8 GPA. 

    Unlike most top tennis players, I did not start at an early age. I picked up tennis at age 14, but that did not stop me from becoming one of the top players in the state, reaching a current high of number 20. With daily tennis practice, and sessions with a personal trainer (a former strength and conditioning coach for the New Orleans Saints and the US Men's Soccer Team) I am improving more and more each day. Standing at 6 feet 4 inches tall, I often over-power the competition. Playing with confidence and determination, I never shy from a challenge. With continued hard work, I believe I will be a great fit for a college team.
