I have only been playing tennis for two years, in these past two years I have seen how much I have improved and I am wanting to see how much more I can improve. These past months, I have realized that tennis would be an amazing addition to my future. Because of this realization I have started practicing more and finding ways to get better. One of these ways is going to a tennis camp at the Lubbock Christian University. I have really improved my serves and volleys and on my way to improving my backhands and forehands. I try to encourage my teammates and I love to get as much help as possible. I tend to be quite persistent when it comes to asking my coach for help improving my game.
I have joined an Early College High School Program that allows me to improve my education by taking college classes alongside my high school classes. This being said, I will be receiving an associates degree in science when I graduate high school. I would like to continue this by getting at a minimum, a bachelor's degree in science. Something that helps me stay focused with my academics and tennis is that I am dedicated to improving upon both of these so I tend to stray away from social events that may affect me in the future. I am also a part of the National Society of High School Scholars which helps me in the long run by offering me many leadership opportunities during my high schools and college years. I want to attend a college that will challenge both my academic skills and athletic capabilities.
