Personal Statement
I have a few goals for myself at the collegiate level of tennis. I want to have the best work ethic/hustle possible, and I want to have fun. These are the only two things you can really control, and hopefully the rest will take care of itself. The thing that makes me different from other recruits would easily be my work ethic. I play as often as I possibly can, and more importantly than that, while I'm playing, I play as hard as I can. I would also consider myself a very coach-able player. I have had many many matches where I was struggling against an opponent who is less skilled then me, my coach gives me a new strategy or game plan, and then I focus on sticking to that plan and overall winning the match. I also take pride in being mentally focused and calm at all times during a match, and every point.
Things outside of tennis that make me unique are my skills to get along with almost anyone (especially if I am on the same team as they are), and my importance to my faith. When I say that I am strong with my faith I don't mean that I will be constantly trying to convert those around me to my religion, but just to let you know that it is an active part of me and my families lives, and that I play tennis for a greater purpose than just myself.
