Personal Statement
My goal is to play at a D1 college level, but am willing to play at other levels if it is the right fit. I am a hard worker and love to compete in all aspects of my life. I have been playing tennis since I was 6 years old and took a year and a half break my 7th and first semester of 8th grade back. I came back and won junior high state at one doubles. I train at Tucker Tennis Academy (RH91) with my coach Tomas Stillman. My freshman year I played one singles, two singles, and one doubles. I ended up playing two singles at regionals winning it all and got 2nd at state the next weekend at #2 singles. I compete in USTA mo valley and national tournaments trying to improve my game. I love playing tennis, but I also balance it well with spending time with family and friends which means a lot to me. I am a great student with a 3.75 GPA and looking to improve that by taking AP classes next year. I particpate in clubs and activities at my high school which is a college prep private school. I played JV basketball freshman year, but didn't play after that to focus on tennis. I get along with everyone and a great teammate to everyone around me at practice. I want to get a degree in most likely business or finance. I love to compete and walk on the court to win the match.
