Baba Sylla '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello coaches, I am Baba Sylla and I think I am a good player for your team. Since being introduced to tennis at a young age, I always enjoyed finding a part of my game to expand and improve. I enjoy working on my technique, fitness, strategy, and mental game. I enjoy the creativity that tennis allows and the sport gives me opportunities to focus which can help me outside of tennis. Integrating all of these aspects into playing is a worthwhile challenge. This is my first year of playing tennis in high school and I am starting in doubles. I like the strategy involved in doubles and using my serve and volleys, I can place the ball in good spots on the court to get points.

Performing well academically has always been another goal for me. Academic excellence is important to expand my knowledge and for my future. I haven't decided what I want to take in college yet but I hope soon I will find something that I can do that will benefit my future.
