I am a hard worker, self-disciplined and self-motivated person. I always strive to do my best in everything I do. I work well with others and pride myself in my ability to work well in a team as well as being a leader with very high morals and work ethic. I am currently ranked #1 in my class academically, so my immediate goal is to graduate as Valedictorian of my class and to excel in my tennis endeavors. I play No. 1 boys singles, #1 doubles, and #1 mixed doubles (Spring) for my 5A high school team (I'm also captain on my team). I have been playing varsity tennis since my freshman year of high school and have been ranked No. 1 on the boys' varsity team since my sophomore year. I also play monthly USTA tournaments throughout the state of Texas. I am classified as a SuperChamp in the 18s Division for USTA Texas. I play and/or practice tennis almost daily, and I would love to play college-level tennis. Tennis is my passion. I have also attended various tennis camps at John Newcombe's Tennis Academy and I traveled as part of their Europe touring tennis team this summer (2013). My primary goals are to receive a high-quality college education while also playing college tennis. I'd like to purse a degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Physics; however, I have not yet decided on a specific major.
