I have been with DPHS tennis for 4yrs now. We are a small mens team in a small rural town. This allows me to get personal assistance from my coach when needed. The first 3 years I played doubles and this year, my Sr year, I am playing as 2nd Singles. I am also a distance runner (usually 1
5+k), which I have found helps my stamina on the court. In addition, I joined weight training last year and have continued this year. I have Asperger's and find that once I get/understand something and enjoy it, I will hyper focus on it until I can really succeed at it.
