Personal Statement
Forest is a gifted runner without much training yet- he's fresh and eager. He has recently been working with 100 Meter Olympian Kerron Stewart. She and all of his past coaches can vouch for his ability, effort and attitude. He unfortunately had no season in 10th grade because of Covid and this year in 11th had his big toe operated on in mid march and put him out for 5 weeks. But he did run the 400 meters twice before his toe operation and ran the last two meets with no training - qualified for 7A States. He had only a total of 4 meets and about 5 practices but knocked off about a second every meet in the 400- in order-- 52.51; 51.99; 50.71; 49.55. Totally out of shape but has the speed and smooth long stride to run much faster. His last 800 meters was in 9th grade at a 2:00.96 in Florida State Meet. Ran a 4:48 1600 meter in 7th grade (one of fastest times in USA for 7th grader). He has slacked in school but now i bet will love college and business school. His dad won the Arkansas State mile 4 years in a row- 9-12th grade and ran on the University of Arkansas track team under coach John McDonald. Forest a good asset for a team as he has great attitude with team mates and can run multiple events/relays from 200-1,000 meters.
