Nick Ragland '22 Recruiting Profile

I began my athletic journey playing baseball since freshman year of high school. Noticing that I had a strong arm, I began to throw javelin my sophomore year. I am the number one varsity javelin thrower at Hoover High School. I aspire to continue throwing in college in an academically rigorous environment. I have a great devotion to throwing javelin as I continue to have a consistent weight training plan outside of regular practice. Along with this, I continue to maintain high academic achievement and extracurriculars plus a part-time job, showing that I am capable of committing to multiple responsibilities. Additionally, I maintain a nutritious diet to perform at my best while also committing to frequent mobility training.
