Personal Statement

Dedication and ambition. These qualities are what separate me from other people; I have the will to put in the work even when all odds are against me.  I have been running since sixth grade, and my love for the sport has only been strengthened by showing me that improvement and success are dependent on my own work ethic.  I attend Loveless Academic Magnet Program, one of the nation‘s top high schools, and maintain a 4.2 GPA.  I have huge goals for outdoor and my senior year and plan to accomplish all of them.  I currently run a 2:02 800 and a 4:37 1600. My senior year cross country PR is a 15:58.  I am striving to be able to run at a D1 or D2 college.
