Personal Statement
I have been running since I was 7 years old and have desired to run at the collegiate level ever since. I know that running in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity that could transform my whole life.
I am a multiple event athlete participating in cross country and track and field. I train hard year-round. I am a team leader and attempt to lead by model. I am very teachable and go all-out to be one of the hardest working runners and one of the solidest working recruits you’ll find.
In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a high GPA. I work as a volunteer in the summers at Martin Army Community Hospital while holding down a challenging training program and meet schedule.
I want to attend a college where I can drive myself in the classroom and on the track. I am open to all opportunities and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model to all my peers and make my parents proud.
