Personal Statement

I have enjoyed my high school career in both football and track.  I was selected All-State as a defensive lineman this past season and elected team captain by my teammates. We just completed our indoor track season and the boys team won the Alabama indoor championship and I was fortunate to win a state championship in the shot put with a throw of 49'8.5".  I completed 3 throws in excess of 49' that day.

My commitment is to my team and my passion.  I enjoy preparing for the events.  Hard work and attention to detail and being patient is paramount to my success.  I also put in the extra work and am working with Gabor Mate this season to help me improve and reach new heights.  It's very exciting and my passion.

I excel in the classroom with a GPA of 3.91.  My ACT score is 24 with a super score of 26.
