Personal Statement
I love track because of the complexities that make up what may seem like such a simple sport looking from the outside in. The experiences that I have been blessed to take part in due to my involvement in my schools track program have greatly improved my confidence in my abilities , work ethic, and overall focus in and outside of athletics. I believe that If a track program needs maturity and leadership that I would be the ideal student-athlete. I understand that leadership and maturity involves listening and learning as much as it does communication and mentoring.
I believe that school is important because the information we learn along with the interactions we have with others helps us grow and form our own opinions. I study and work hard to show so that I will succeed. And to show the people that have helped me along the way that their contributions resulted in my positive actions. I balance athletics and academic by using my time wisely and resting when needed so that I don.t feel overloaded. In college I would like to study Psychology.
