Personal Statement

Sport is my passion; I grew up playing soccer and doing track but also moved into volleyball, and basketball once I got into high school. Even though I played on the Varsity Basketball, Volleyball, and Soccer teams, the sport I truly enjoyed the most was track and field.

I'm a very dedicated, hard working, and committed athlete who will not back down from a challenge. I have my goals set high and won't stop until I reach them. I compete to succeed not to just be a participant, and even if I lose, I train harder to be better the next time.

I was ranked #2 in the country for the Indoor Junior Men's Long Jump in Canada with a jump of 7.07m. While this past outdoor season I reached to 7.15m which also placed me #2 in the country.

Besides sports I also focus heavily on my academics, keeping up a 91% grade average, placing me in the top 2% in my class of roughly 200 students.

I would preferably compete at the Division I level and I am looking forward to be part of the NCAA at competitive school in both athletics and academics.

Additionally, I play the flute and saxophone and went to the provincial honor band for both, if it matters.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
