Personal Statement

I am highly committed to running Track and Cross Country. I started running at the age of 5 when my mother decided it was a good time for me to start working out!

Since I've been consistently running for 12 years, I’ve learned a thing or two about running smart. I understand that pacing, dedication and consistency are the keys to a great running career . I also realize and appreciate the importance of  being open to the coaches and their advice.

I am seeking to be part of a strong team that will push each other to success. I am self motivated, and have an unusual grit. I would love to bring those qualities to a dedicated collegiate team.
