Hello, my name is Trenton Henry. I am Native American and I am part of the Dine'(Navajo) tribe. On the Navajo Reservation, running is something that is adapted into our culture. Running is used as a sense of healing and a wake-up call to our spiritual ancestors. My goals for college is to run and learn. I have many careers that I am interested in. For example: Physical Therapy, Pediatrician, General Surgeon, or a Criminal Investigator. One thing that makes me a good candidate is that, I work hard. When I am knocked down, I always get back up. "Mom didn't raise a quitter" I always say. I work hard everyday. On the track or off the track. As mentioned, I am of the Navajo People. I am different in many ways. I am a joker once you get to know me, but I am also very serious when it comes to athletics and academics. Athletics is my sense of healing and my get-away from reality. I hope you take me into consideration.
