I have a great passion for running. I have been running competitively since I was 10 Years old. I like to learn from every race and practice I do. I enjoy strategizing with my coaches on how to run my races. I take pride in having a strong bond with my family, teammates, and friends. I am a fierce competitor and I always leave everything I have on the course or track.
I feel the same way about school. I am a member of a selective program, the Bobcat Scholar Academy at Cienega High School. Bobcat Scholars engage in a rigorous course load of honors and advanced placement courses, completing a minimum of eight advanced placement courses throughout the four years of high school. I currently have a 4.0 GPA, a weighted 5.19 GPA and i am in the top 4% of my class.
The one thing I enjoy most about running in High School is being with my teammates and experiencing our team success together. We motivate and push each other to always do our best. I look forward to experiencing this in college as well. I will carry on my same mindset from high school and into college. I will be a fierce competitor but be humble, have fun, and enjoy the process with my teammates and coaches.
