NEW NEWS:

Cody commits to run cross country at Southern Arkansas University (SAU) in Magnolia.

INDOOR STATE CHAMPION!!! Cody won the 1-4A indoor state championship in the 3200M in Fayetteville on 2-7-14. He also finished 2nd in the 1600M.

Cody runs a new PR for the 3000m (9:35) at the Arkansas HS Invitational on 1-18-14.

STATE CHAMPION!!! Cody won the 4A state cross country championship in 16:14.8 (a new PR) in Hot Springs on 11-9-13.

Cody ran a 16:27 (a new PR) finishing 6th at the Lake Hamilton pre-state meet in Hot Springs on 10-19-13.

Cody ran a 16:54 at the SAU Lois Davis meet in Magnolia on 10-12-13.

Cody ran a 16:58 at the Chile Pepper in Fayetteville on 10-7-13.

Cody ran a 15:34 (on a 2.9 mile course) winning the Sonic Invitational in Hamburg on 9-28-13.

Cody ran a 16:49 (a new cross country PR), finishing 3rd in the Conway Wampus Cat CC meet on 9-14-13.

Cody ran a 17:35, a course record, winning the Los Toritos CC meet in Star City on 9-7-13.

Cody ran a 17:21 & finished 27th in the Brooks Memphis Twilight on 8-31-13.

Cody just ran a 16:43 (a new road race PR), finishing 6th overall, in the Firecracker Fast 5K in Little Rock, AR on  7-4-13.

I started running in the 7th grade & really liked it. So I started training more & have consistantly been bringing my times down since. I have been able to run in the state meet each year, as a freshman until now as a junior, & have placed each year. I have learn to love running, & would love to continue running in college as I earn my degree. My plans are to become a track/XC coach when I graduate from college, so I can pass along all I have learned along the way.
