My name is Aaron Berman and I attend Placer High School in Auburn, California. I am entering into my 12th grade year. I believe I would be able to work with anybody on any team due to my uncanny ability to socially interact with all people from all backgrounds. As a military dependent, I grew up in 7 different states and played football for 10+ years, wrestled for 3 years, and participated in track and field for 4 years from Ramona, CA, to Washington, DC, to Auburn, CA. My freshman year, I was able to post modestly untrained results of 70 feet in discus and 31 feet in shotput, where I found my niche. I committed myself to the weight lifting and conditioning, where I gained over 30 pounds of mass in 24 months - achieving all weight lifting goals ahead of schedule to include back squat 3RM of 420 pounds…and climbing. I learned from a young age about the importance of work ethic and teamwork. I am highly flexible and have moved 6 times in my 12 years of schooling, many times across the country. I enjoy track and field more than any other sport and I have committed my very best to training, scholastics, and competing - without distraction.
My academic interest Is to study Criminal Justice or Pre-Law to prepare for Law School. My family prides itself in commitment to public service, where my father was a military officer and pilot - now serving CAL FIRE and my mother as a Registered Nurse. I would like to carry on this public service tradition to become a military lawyer.
I ask all coaches to believe in me and give me a chance - I promise not to disappoint. I want to be someone you and the institution can be proud of.
