My collegiate goals exist both on and off the track. I desire to go to a well established university. I will excel at an athletic program where the coaches are just as committed to me as I am to them. Off the track I want to be at a school that feels right , where I can look forward to waking up every morning and being excited about what the day ahead of me holds. I am an excellent growth candidate because I have a passion for the sport. I love Track and Field and I am willing to put in the time, effort and work to obtain a goal that is set in front of me. My leadership and sense of character is an aspect that I believe your program would appreciate. I work to learn, to lead and then to be a mentor. I have a competitive spirit that strives to be in 1st place with an understanding of sportsmanship and respect to the competitor standing next to me. In academics I have always strived for growth, learning and to be the best. Some students get monetary rewards for grades in the classroom, but in my family, excelling in the class room is an expectation and my reward is being selected to the right university. I know what it takes to excel in athletics while consistently earning good grades. My current GPA is 3.8 on a 4.0 scale.
