Personal Statement
When concerning goals, I don't believe there are any limits. I don't believe a personal record of any kind should satisfy you, because hard work day in and day out can and will prove that seemingly impossible goal really is obtainable. When someone tells me I won't be able to achieve a goal I've set for myself, I do everything in my power to prove them wrong, and then some. Many would be satisfied at that point, begin to settle, and fall into comfort because of that satisfaction. I have conditioned myself throughout the three years I've been running to accept discomfort. In fact, that's what this sport is all about, pushing the limits of the human body. And it's that motivation that keeps me on my toes and ready to overcome any obstacle that decides to try and get in my way of success, in a race and in life.
