Personal Statement

I'm a honor roll student in the Engineering Academy at CVCHS entering 11th grade. In 9th and 10th grade I mostly competed in varsity field events - shot put and discus. This summer I'm focused on weight training and shot put and discus private training. For 4 years I regularly strength-trained with UFC Gym fitness coaches and this is when I became interested throwing shot put and discus. My CVCHS varsity field event coach Katie Jackson has helped me improve and compete at a varsity level. I am interested in attending throwing camps at colleges to learn more about other throwing events not offered at my school. I'm also interested in visiting colleges with Engineering and STEM majors that have track and field throwing teams. https://www.instagram.com/cooper.throws/

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
