I first started Cross Country my Freshman year of high school, at first I hated the sport, but the more I ran the better I got at it and soon I got absorbed into the sport completely. My overall goal has always been to make CIF as a team, we were only ONE point off from making CIF last year (my junior year) and with our previous seniors leaving its up to me to prove myself this year. Since last year I have PR'ed about 18 seconds during my first race of the season. with a time of 16:47 for three miles. For an end season goal I would love to get under 16 minutes for three miles. This season, I am willing to do whatever it takes for my team and I to get CIF and in college i'll always put forward my best effort to achieve my goals. My reason for running is to push my body's limits, and to make my team, my coaches, and my family proud. I promise I will do whatever it takes to be the best athlete that I can be, and achieve my goals.
