I have just started my Senior year and I am very excited. I am a student-athlete and as you can see from my transcripts and course load I am as serious about my academic performance as I am about my athletic performance. I have participated in organized sports since I was 5 years old with practice and competition helping to keep me grounded.
Track and Field is exciting to me, I love it, and I believe if I am given an opportunity I would have much to offer a program. Personally, I have added some lofty goals for my upcoming season that I feel will better prepare me for my collegiate career.
I see the role of student-athlete of not just filling the stereotypical ideal. I am not just an athlete, I am not just a student; I want people to see how being both has helped me grow as a person. I have been a Varsity Athlete all 4 years and being involved in Best Buddies (President) and ASB (Class of 2020 President) help me to reach other students as well.
