My name is Ramon Duran and I’m currently attending Hartnell College in Salinas California, competing in the hurdles and various events. I’m looking to transfer and compete during the 2023 or 2024 season.
My past years of track and field have not been easy. I’ve experienced poor training facilities, not having a track a full season, Covid 19, and a final high school season without my event coach in which I excelled to 6th in my section in the 300m hurdles. These events being a hardship have also been a blessing by allowing me to create discipline, motivation, and patience for myself. Now as a junior college athlete, I only look to increase my knowledge as a student and focus on my performance in my sport.
