Personal Statement
I am a current High School Senior and Team Captain on Northwood High School's Cross Country and Track teams. I am motivated, self-driven, and coachable. I am interested in training philosophies and methodologies and have explored such interest by crafting my own training program throughout Summer training periods. Following an Achille injury during my sophomore year, I have grown to be more conscientious and mindful about my training and body. My passion for running and obsession with improving has grown hand-in-hand with my fascination with how my body functions and the physiology behind my movements. With these interests, I am searching for a college or university with programs related to Sports Science, Kinesiology, and or Psychology.
