I want to earn a business degree as well as compete at the highest level against the best in the country. I know it takes hard work and dedication to compete in college athletics and be a good student. My goal is to focus on both. I plan to work very hard attaining a business degree and be one of the best track athlete’s in the country.
I am a hard worker and will bring leadership skills to any team I compete for. I realize track events are run as individual events but it is also a team sport and I want to be an important part of a great team. I am a very coachable athlete with leadership qualities and a great work ethic. My results in California, which is one of the toughest states to compete in the country, have shown that I can deliver.
I think it’s important to be well rounded and I am looking for a college environment that can help me grow as a man. I believe you should give back to your community. I was part of a group since I was in the 7th grade call Guys Giving Back and we did many things like raising funds to donate to charities, going to food banks to help with packing food boxes to donate and collecting toys to give to military families. It was very rewarding and I leaned how important it is to give back.
