I first began running when I joined the cross country team, and I noticed that I improved quickly. When track started I was able to lower my 1600m time by over 20 seconds in just a couple of weeks. Since then I have been steadily improving and feel that with the right training I can keep improving at a fast rate. I am very good at balancing academics with athletics, because I am able to keep my GPA at well over a 4.0 while still being able to train hard. I am very dedicated to track and cross country, so my dream would be to compete in college.
