Hey there, I'm Rory Schelly from Hermosa Beach California. I am a pole vaulter that competes for the Mira Costa High Track and Field team but I do dabble in other events from time to time. I am a good candidate for your team because I am a natural leader who enjoys helping my fellow teammates try to get better. I love pole vault and try my hardest to keep getting better at it. I am different from other recruits as I enjoy being apart of a team and I work better when I am with a good group of athletes. I work hard than everyone else on my team because I hate being the weak link so I try my very hardest to push past my limits. I am also good in the classroom with a 4.13 GPA and a course selection of some of the hardest courses at my high school.
