Being able to make it to North coast championships as a sophmore was a highlight. However I feel an experience that helped me grow was living in South America. In Ecuador and Peru the sporting culture was very different making me learn to play with cultural differences and coaching styles. South America has broadened my abilities. That experience helped me learn certain skills, abilities and languages that has helped me throughout sports. I am a two sport athlete: Football and Track and Field. The experiences from both sports has made me grow as an athlete because I have learned the true value of team work and leadership. I do well on and off the field. The work ethic I have to push myself and get better at school making me a scholar athlete. Also making me play harder in every sport has made me who I am. I know that quitting does no accomplish anything for anyone, and I see things through with determination and grit. In the end I have skills and abilities I would have never had if I didn't push myself to continue this sport I love.
