I'm a driven, motivated student-athlete and believe I have the skills to continue my athletic career in college. I feel strongly that I can compete competitively in D1, D2, and D3 division schools with continued improvement over my Junior and Senior years. My best events are the 110 and 300 Meter Hurtles; however, I also excel in High-Jump and Long-Jump. I competed in two Pentathlons in 8th grade and am considering trying a Decathlon in my Junior year. As a Sophomore, I advanced to the CCS Trials in the 110 Hurdles, and was awarded MVP for the entire track team with the most PR's, most medals, and most points (110) for the season. I also recently (July 8-18, 2018) traveled to Australia to compete internationally in both the 110 and 330 hurtles as well as High Jump where I placed third. Prior to Track and Field, I studied Taekwondo for three years where I was a member of the tournament team and received over a dozen medals and received my black-belt at eleven.
In addition to my athletics, I am also an excellent student; currently maintaining a 4.0 GPA and plan on taking four Advanced Placement (AP) classes in my Junior year. Science, specifically physics is my favorite area of study and my ultimate career objective is to work in Nuclear Fusion energy. I attribute much of my success to my personal drive, determination, work ethic and discipline. I strongly feel that I would be a valuable addition to a Division-1, Division-2, or Division-3 college.
