My name is Ethan Sickles, but everyone calls me EJ. I am that kid that you are going to have to lock the weight room doors and lock the field fence because I do not have an off switch. I am the first one on the field or track and the last one to leave. I am a junior at Villa Park High School in Orange, CA. I am a three-sport athlete, I play basketball, football and track/field. Even though I play three sports, I have been able to be consistent with my academics and maintain a high GPA. I love the three sports that I play, but my passion for sports falls on football and track/field. . After my freshman football season ended, I found myself wondering what I was going to do, that is when I found throwing. What ever I do, you will get 200% out of me, I jumped into throwing with everything I had, I throw shot put and discus for my high school varsity team. I throw hammer and the weight as an unattached athlete, under my throw’s trainer Lisa Misipeka. I have a very strong, loving and supportive family, they are my biggest supporters and critics, they are a big part of why I have excelled as a human being. I work hard every day, I stay humble every day, I am not ready to stop throwing after my senior year, I have dedicated 17 years of my life to making that not happen and that is why I want an opportunity to throw at the college level. I am not ready to be done.
