My names, Tristen Zeidman, currently a junior in high school. I play soccer and run track. I first started track my freshman year and have been a standout ever since setting school records over and over. I'm also captain of the track and soccer team. I also excel at academics as I go to a college prep school which is statistically more challenging than neighboring public schools.
My collegiate goals are to use the skills my high school coaches have taught me and use the skills college coaches will teach me to be the best version of myself as an athlete. I make a good candidate for any team not because of my skills and times in my sport, but I am moldable, meaning I lean quickly and I don't fight advice, tips or lessons. I don't turn away from tough situations. I take them head on and push though. I'm not like other athletes, I wasn't a "jock" growing up.I worked for my athletic accomplishments. I was the peculiar child that didn't behave like other boys in their freshman year. I battled for where I stand today, I battled to be acknowledged and to be looked at as a genuine competitor. Im proud of where I've come. I'm also looked at as a leader and someone that everyone can confide in. There are probably other athletes that had challenges harder than me but I stand out due to how hard I needed to battle for sport and in society.
