Personal Statement
I have struggled with the disadvantages of being legally blind in one eye to rise to be one of the top athletes in my area. I have, so far in my high school career, participated in three sports: football, wrestling, and track and field. While I appreciate the beginning two and all they have taught me as a person, I have a deep passion for track, and wish to peruse it post-high school. I do well in school though I’m not in the top of my class. I have developed good relationships with my teachers, peers, and other faculty. I not only do sports, but have participated in school plays and musicals as well as spending some time helping at my church. I look forward to hearing from you.
