Personal Statement

I always strive for straight A’s and believe I am a leader to many! I have been a 4.0 GPA student all my life and even received a 5.2  GPA for all the extra work I completed in Junior High School from 6th,7th, and 8th Grade. I have Participated in many activities through my life including playing 5 sports year around. I also play musical instruments and have been playing in the school orchestra for 6 years. As I take on college I believe I will be mentally prepared because I have always been ahead of people my age. I believe in good sportsmanship, being in Martial Arts (Taekwondo) for 10 years has taught me that there’s nothing wrong with bouncing your ideas off other people. By learning as much as you can from others this allows you to perfect yourself in school and  sports. I believe what makes me different from the other recruits is my whole life my dad has pushed and supported me with all his ability make sure I use all my talent.  This has taught me to take sports very seriously.  By doing so, I have become a world class athlete in Taekwondo Olympic Sparring!  This is why when I go to college, I will perform to the best of my ability because I’ve learned that you got to  be a beast to succeed!  I believe that academics come first because you need good grades to succeed in college!  I strongly believe that’s true because if you strive to be the best, and if you care about something that is your craft,  then you will perfect it!!

  • ActivitiesGreek Dance, during the summer in June I dance for thousands of people at a huge festival celebrating my Greek culture through the 17-19th of June, I’m going into my 11 years of Greek dance! The great thing is I get the chance to to meet people I’ve never met in my life. Which is awesome! I also play violin outside of school, I’m going in into my 6th year of playing the violin. I play at concerts outside of my school and my orchestra competes in regional and city districts, my orchestra recently received a superior score in our all-competition, coming in with a first place ranking! I am also involved in my Greek church, I help make food for homeless shelters, help set up Sunday school. I run a YouTube channel, that goes by the name Jico Spice, I review phone and tech products, I also like to vlog my channel is very professional. I make and edit all the videos by myself, right now I have a strong fan base with 320+ subscribers and growing my most viewed video almost has 14,000 views, I have in total 21,000 views in total.
