Personal Statement
Hi my name is John Ames. I have really gotten into running throughout my high school career. I have becoming a great racer, a great competitor and I am shaping into a great runner. Being from a small school I don’t have certain opportunities that I would enjoy having. I would love to have a lot more competition to race against all year long. A plus you will gain by offering me a spot on your roster would be how much of a hard worker, competitor and winner you would get. I am top of my class in academics and am in an exclusive group of brilliant individuals. You had to test into the group and I take great pride in my academics as well as my athletics. I am an all conference starting varsity basketball player and that sport is very successful for me as well. You will gain someone who only knows how’s to win, work their hardest all of the time and someone who will compete no matter what is on the line. Something else I take great pride in is my personality. I become friends with all of my competitors and being from a small community I am friends with all of my team along with other county teams. I am a great winner, a great loser, a great loser and a future great runner for your team.
