Personal Statement

   My name is Riley Moore, and I'm in the class of 2018. I live in Lake City, CO at 8761 feet above sea level. My current best hundred meter, set in 8th grade, is a 11.56, at the Hershey track and field regional meet. My best two hundred, set at the same meet as my hundred, is a 24.14. I also like to jump, and my PR in the long jump is 19 feet 3.5 inches, set at a the Delta Panther Invite in March of 2015. In May of 2015 at the IML/SPL Invitational I ran my current PR in the 400 meter at 52.97. 

My current goal is to break 10.50 in the hundred, 23.5 in the two hundred, and 21 feet in the long jump by my Junior year. I am currently on a year round training program that includes aerobic, anaerobic, and weight training.

   Academically I am a strong student. I currently have a 3.7 GPA. My school, Lake City Community School, is one of the top performing academic schools in the state of Colorado. I would like to use my ability to run to get a degree in Agriculture, with a minor in Computer Science.
