I enjoy the sport of track and field because there are many opportunities available to partake in, such as the variety of sprints, relays, and jumps. As a person, I always try to take advantage of any opportunity in my path and I’m willing to put forth my best effort. When I first started participating in track, I was unsure of the events I wanted to participate in. By competing in different events, I had the chance to experience the opportunities I had in this sport and to develop a passion in long jump. Throughout the years, I have been able to develop and better my skills in my events starting from the 8th grade. I am coachable, self-disciplined, willing to take constructive criticism, and always try to set goals every season. Unfortunately, I was not able to compete for the 2019 - 2020 outdoor season due to COVID-19. But, I still want to have a chance to compete in this sport collegiately on a scholarship so I can earn the chance of going to college, work towards a degree in computer science and minor in graphic design. I also enjoy doing what I love in track and field, as well.
